March 2008 "For Fun" Dog Show

Our March dog show was a tail-wagging good time for everyone.  Classes included events such as tallest dog, longest dog, shortest dog, most wrinkles, best trick, best costume, and dog of the day. Graduates from the Gordon College Canine Good Citizen Class took a turn around the ring to demonstrate proper canine manners. Other demonstrations included rally, obedience, and agility.

Our Judges were Jay Matthews, Kenny Roberts, Dr. Mary Alice Money, Karen Cox,  Hayward Cox, Monica Walters, Bill Brown, and Theresa Brown. We appreicate their participation.

Local organizations that joined us for the event were Gordon College Community Education, Thomaston/Upson Red Cross Pet First Aid Team, and Barnesville/Lamar County Humane Society.
