Party Time for the Winners

            Members of the Dolly Goodpuppy Society, Inc. visited Lamar County Primary School on May 12th to select the winners of the “What I Learned From KIND News” Poster Contest. It was really a tough decision; the kids had done a wonderful job on all the posters. We were very impressed with the variety, the artful design, and the creativity. It was the amount of content that helped us make the final decisions. The winners really showed us how much they had learned from KIND News.

The winning classrooms were announced on the School’s morning media presentation on closed circuit TV.   Nancy Turner’s Kindergarten Class won First Place and the pizza party. Linda Wilson’s Kindergarten Class won second place and a cupcake party. Pat Burnette’s Second Grade Class, probably the most artistic poster, won a cupcake party.

When asked if they liked KIND News, the children responded enthusiastically, yes. The feedback we receive from teachers was very positive.  All the members of the Dolly Goodpuppy Society, Inc. are thrilled that both teachers and kids are really enjoying this publication.  It was a pleasure to inform them that they would all be receiving KIND News again in the upcoming school year.
